I have been watching the results of elections since the 1950s, and too frequently we have had only the lesser of two evils for our votes. The 2024 elections are over, so now the political parties are discussing where they succeeded or failed and whose fault the failures were. Some groups are attempting to lay the blame on anybody they can. As we should expect the Democrats are attempting to disrupt the Republicans choices for what to do before the new Congress is sworn in, and the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 47th president of the United States.
I hope we citizens get to see something accomplished, since we are paying for everything that does not happen as quickly as it should. Trump is making choices for his cabinet, and the heads of agencies. I wonder if some of those agencies should be combined, and a few bureaucrats should find new jobs. Will the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) recommend the elimination of do-nothing agencies? Will DOGE turn out to be another do-nothing agency?
The Republicans are thrilled about their prospects, and the Democrats are pointing fingers at anyone their infrastructure sees as a weak link. It amazes me, the political parties have not begun to understand the concepts of the law of supply and demand, how to compromise and work together to use their offices for the good of our people. Are they being kept stirred up by the partisan news? Does the news need something for their headlines and news stories? Does the news media give our elected representatives innovative ideas on how to waste money on delays, and disagreements?
Think about what we see on TV and in the printed news. All I see is narratives about who blew the election. Reports like that keep voters stirred up, and even sending messages to both the news and the elected officials encouraging reporters, politicians, and bureaucrats to stir the D.C. cauldron. Do you wonder if most of the dissent over the last several years is the fault of lies and innuendos on the TV and printed news networks?

As usual I have a tough time feeling all in with what is going on in America, so I am inhalfway.
