While eating wonderful friendship bread my gourmet chef wife cultured, then baked, I spread it thickly with butter and microwaved it until warm and the butter melted. While pigging out, I found a survey that asked this question: “Does social media help you to understand the truth in news?” The results: 12% said yes, 62% said no, and 26% said it makes no difference. For those of you who get all your news from social media, unlike most polls, there is little chance of this question having a political bias. I would suggest there are better sources to educate yourselves on the truth. Several people have said, “Ignorance can be cured by education, there is no cure for stupid.” How would you respond to the same question?
